This explains, in plain language, what Fixiol collects when you use the app, what actually happens to it, and how to get it deleted. If a legal document ever needs more formal language than this page, we will say so explicitly rather than mixing the two.
Everything above is stored in Supabase, our database/auth/file-storage provider (built on top of AWS infrastructure). Access to your data is scoped to your account by database-level access rules (Row Level Security), not just application code — so even a bug in our app code can't normally expose one user's photos or documents to another user's account.
We are not independently certified (e.g. SOC 2) at this time, and we want to say that plainly rather than imply otherwise.
When you run AI damage detection on a photo, that image is sent to Roboflow, a third-party computer-vision API, which returns the detected damage locations back to us — it does not store the image permanently on its end for our use case beyond what's needed to serve that one request. If you never click "AI Scan" (or it never auto-runs) on a photo, that photo is never sent to Roboflow at all; it stays in our own Supabase storage.
Weather/hail-event data shown in reports comes from a public NOAA storm-events dataset we host a copy of — this is public weather history, not personal data, though your project's address is used to look up which events are near it.
Account emails (verification, password reset) and product/ lifecycle emails (onboarding tips, inactivity check-ins) are sent via our email provider and Loops, which we use for those lifecycle emails. Loops receives your name and email address, and records of high-level events (like "created a project") — it does not receive your photos or claim documents.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded photos or claim documents for advertising. We do not share your project data with other users or with insurance carriers directly — any report you generate is yours to send or not send.
We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active, so your projects and reports stay available to you. We do not currently run an automated deletion schedule after account closure — deletion today is a manual process on request, not yet a fully self-service one-click flow. To request deletion of your account or specific projects, email support@fixiol.com. We'll confirm once it's done. If we later add a self-service deletion option in the app, this page will be updated to reflect that.
Wherever applicable privacy law gives you a right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, you can exercise it by contacting support@fixiol.com.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, email active accounts.
